问题 I'm looking to get a device (phone, tablet, etc.) for developing Android applications. I know I can use the emulator to get me started, but I feel like that will only get me so far along. I'm looking for something reasonably priced, and I don't want a phone contract, data plan, etc. Anyone have any suggestions? 回答1: I would recommend either a Nexus One or ADP2 ( you can get via Market once you sign in as developer. ). Other option is ebay. All attendees of google i/o got moto droid as a gift.

问题 Adobe are launching Flash Player 10.1 in the first quarter of 2010, this will provide consistent runtime across desktops and mobile devices (so I assume if it was built for the web it will work on the mobile). I am about to start developing an flash based application for mobile phones, should I look at using FLash Lite 3 or wait until Flash Player 10.1 comes out. I guess I could have my flash lite 3 app out there in a couple of months by which time Flash Player 10.1 will be coming very soon.

问题 I would like to make a free version of the Android app I have, but would like to embed ad on it. I am not sure where I should start? Is there a well known mobile ad company out there that is specialized in mobile advertising? 回答1: I have personally used both Admob and Adsense. I was wary when I first implemented ads thinking that my users would be upset, but I have not received one complaint from over 500,000 active installations. The only permission that you need to add for either ad SDK to

问题 which API or library on which mobile OS is to be used when one needs to write a code to use the phone's IrDA to create the necessary impulses to remote control consumer electronics e.g. a HDD media player? Is maybe a certain mobile OS better suited for that kind of application than others? 回答1: First you need to know that IrDA is not the best choice for remote control. It can be done, but IrDA is by design high speed/low range, you can emulate low speeds but ranges (IMO) are far from

Something that would product the right CSS, the right html, etc 回答1: I doubt you'll find too much that would make good markup for mobile phones across the board. A client of ours is attending a business fair and would like to push some sort of "welcome message" to people visiting their space. I'm not too familiar with Bluetooth, so I have a few questions: What kind of content can you transfer via Bluetooth? (Is it files only or is it possible to send a simple text message?) Is it possible to push content only to recipients within a certain distance? (ie. based on signal strength or similar) Can anybody recommend a piece of software that can do some or all of the above? If necessary we could program a custom solution ourselves (.NET), but I'm sure there

Is GSM data sending between 2 phones impossible?

Please tell me in detail why it is impossible to send the data between two phones over GSM? I can find almost no information about this problem. user1725145 There are 2 points here. Firstly, GSM is a mobile voice telephony system - plain GSM doesn't do data connections. GPRS and EDGE are add-ons to the GSM network that allow data to be sent. There are other kinds of wireless phone networks that also use a SIM and allow data to be sent (UMTS, LTE). Secondly, when you establish a data connection with a mobile phone and a phone network, you are establishing an IP connection between your phone

How does google map location works?

My question is how does google map or mobile GPS able to find mine current location ? My high level understanding after reading this article is , GPS receiver gets the location coordinates through these satellites and this location is further passed to Google Map(or any other client) API which then locates the exact location on map. Is it correct ? Somewhere i also read that Mobile towers also plays the role. But my unserstanding is that this can be used to track the mobile location if required but mobile apps or Google maps uses the satellite approach. Right ? Matej P. It's a bit inaccurate
