问题 Through MAS, I have a blob container setup with public access level set to "Public read access for blobs only", allowing for a download of the setup.exe by visiting "https://myblob.blob.core.windows.net/myprogram/myprogram.htm". The problem stems from actually running setup.exe in that it gives me The following properties have been set: Property: [AdminUser] = true {boolean} Property: [InstallMode] = HomeSite {string} Property: [NTProductType] = 1 {int} Property: [ProcessorArchitecture] =

Can I stop Visual Studio 2012+ from ever publishing packages.config and EF diagram files?

问题 When I publish an ASP.NET Web Application in Visual Studio 2012/2013/2015, Visual Studio will also publish the packages.config (from NuGet) and any *.edmx.diagram files (from Entity Framework), by default. I know that I can go into the project and individually switch the properties for these files from Build Action Content to Build Action None , however, I have to do this for each project that I use Entity Framework, or any other NuGet-provided package. I can configure the publishing process

Why does my signed, click-once application say it has an unknown publisher

问题 I want to create an application that is easy to install. The installation process is quite complex (lots of permissions, firewall rules, services, etc.). So I decided to write the setup program in C# (.net 4), and then make the setup program itself a click-once install. The idea was that the user would go to the website, click install, my setup program would be installed on their computer by click once, and then it would run, setting up the main program. In order to make this an easy process,

问题 I was using publish to folder option through Visual Studio by right-clicking on the project -> publish -> publish to folder. Result was always ready-to-copy project with applied transformations. I wanted to automate this process using VSTS and have setup build on VSTS. I used next steps: - NuGet restore - Build solution - Publish Build Artifacts to $(build.artifactstagingdirectory) - Windows machine file copy from $(build.artifactstagingdirectory) to remote machine using admin login and

One-click publish in vs 2012: how to remove _ConnectionStringsToInsert?

问题 I usually put my connection string to a separate file, adding something like this in web.config: <connectionStrings configSource="WebConnection.config" /> I've just installed VS 2012 and it automatically picked up my existing publish settings. However, when I do a webpublish it now adds two connections strings by itself, so my web.config on the deployment target now looks like that: <connectionStrings configSource="WebConnection.config"> <add name="EF.Model.DbContext" connectionString="EF

I can run my Asp.Net MVC 2 application without an issue on my local computer. Just Run / Debug. But if I have already built it, I can't publish it! I have to clean the solution and publish it again. I know this is not system critical, but it's really annoying. "One Click Publish" is not "Clean solution and then One click publish" The exact error is as follows: Error 11 It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. I suspect it's
