Mysql table size on the HDD

问题 I have a around 80 csv files, each contains 4million rows, I want to make calculation regarding the disk size. How can I make this? I have an Idea, to upload one file and check the table size, but I don't know where can I find the table on the HDD. I'm using win7 64bit just for testing 回答1: Locate mySQL's data directory. By default, it should be a subdirectory of wherever you installed mySQL to and named /data . If you use myISAM tables (they're the default), you can do a global search for

Available space left on drive - WinAPI - Windows CE

问题 I've forgotten the WinAPI call to find out how much space is remaining on a particular drive and pinvoke.net isn't giving me any love. It's compact framework by the way, so I figure coredll.dll. Can anyone with a better memory jog mine? 回答1: GetDiskFreeSpaceEx. That links to pinvoke.net's desktop page; simply replace kernel32 with coredll . Unfortunately System.IO.DriveInfo is not present on Compact Framework. It doesn't quite fit with Windows CE's Unix-style singly-rooted tree. 来源: https:/

Searching in couchdb or do river thru an elastic search

问题 I understand we create views on couchdb and then we can search. Another interesting approach is to connect couchdb with elasticsearch thru river and search in elasticsearch. I have two questions: in terms of disk space usage, will elasticsearch be more efficient? what would be the pros and cons of using couchdb search vs using elasticsearch on top of couchdb? Thanks! 回答1: In terms of disk usage: https://github.com/logstash/logstash/wiki/Elasticsearch-Storage-Optimization http://till

Allocate disk space for multiple file downloads in Java

问题 Is there any way of reliably "allocating" (reserving) hard disk space via "standard" Java (J2SE 5 or later)? Take for example the case of a multithreaded application, executing in a thread pool, where every thread downloads files. How can the application make sure that its download won't be interrupted as a result of disk space exhaustion? At least, if it knows beforehand the size of the file it is downloading, can it do some sort of "reservation", which would guarantee file download,

SQL Server 2005: disk space taken by dropped columns

问题 I have a big table in SQL Server 2005 that's taking about 3.5 GB of space (according to sp_spaceused). It has 10 million records, and several indexes. I just dropped a bunch of columns from it, such that the record length got reduced to a half, and to my surprise it took zero time to do that. Obviously, sp_spaceused was still reporting the same taken space, SQL server hadn't really done anything when dropping the columns, other than marking them as "dropped". So I moved all the data from this

How can I find the free space available on mounted volumes using Perl?

问题 I'm trying to untar a file. Before untarring I would like to know free space available on the mounted volume. The plan is if there is not enough space I will not untar it! So how can I find the free space available on a mounted volume using Perl? By the way, I'm using Perl for tar and untar. Everybody is saying about df and dh but these commands doesn't work on the mount points. What if I want to find the free space that I can write into on a mounted point? 回答1: Using shell commands to

Getting “No space left on device” for approx. 10 GB of data on EMR m1.large instances

问题 I am getting an error "No space left on device" when I am running my Amazon EMR jobs using m1.large as the instance type for the hadoop instances to be created by the jobflow. The job generates approx. 10 GB of data at max and since the capacity of a m1.large instance is supposed to be 420GB*2 (according to: EC2 instance types ). I am confused how just 10GB of data could lead to a "disk space full" kind of a message. I am aware of the possibility that this kind of an error can also be

How to enable GC logging for Apache Storm workers, while preventing log file overwrites and capping disk space usage

问题 We recently decided to enable GC logging for Apache Storm workers on a number of clusters (exact version varies) as a aid to looking into topology-related memory and garbage collection problems. We want to do that for workers, but we also want to avoid two problems we know might happen: overwriting of the log file when a worker restarts for any reason the logs using too much disk space, leading to disks getting filled (if you keep the cluster running long enough, log files will fill up disk

ErrorException in D:\xampp\htdocs\pckg\vendor\laravel\framework\src\Illuminate\Filesystem\Filesystem.php line 81: file_put_contents(): Only 0 of 3520 bytes written, possibly out of free disk space 回答1: I just freed / cleared the laravel.log file in the storage/logs folder. Also clearing cache & sessions folders in storage/framework folder can help. It just cleared the error and the login page was loaded again ! 回答2: The main issue is laravel.log file.
