How can I create new project in Trac?

I have installed Bitnami Trac for windows. (bitnami-trac-0.12.2-5-windows-installer) During installation, it asked me for creating project and username and password. I successfully created project and set up a user for me(admin). At the moment, there is written only one available project that I created during installation. I am new to it, that is why I am asking it from you, Please help me how can I create new project? Also, how can I create other users? Bitnami installer asks for creating a project because it means to create a new Trac instance with its database (.db file). The terms are a

问题 We are using trac and are really satisfied with it. However, out of the box, trac is best suited for single-project environments only. I'd be interested to hear about the various approaches people take to make it work with multiple projects nevertheless and their experiences with them. Are there any plugins to recommend? Any patches, tweaks or whatnots? Are you maybe even using an entirely different bug-tracking system that offers all of trac's functionality plus multi-project support? We

How to link to html file in Trac

自古美人都是妖i 提交于 2019-12-05 13:21:11
I want to link from my project Trac page to my javadoc index.html file, which is located inside the source repository. However I don't know how to link in such a way that the file will be rendered as a usual page. I tried [source:.../index.html] and [ http://.../index.html] both just displays its content, as any other source file. From Trac version 0.11 an onwards, the [export:.../index.html] (as answered by Gregory Pakosz) seems to be exactly what I need, however we currently work with 10.3 (with no intention to upgrade due to some broken functionality with templates). Is there any plugin to

“DLL load failed” when using mercurial on trac

My mercurial repository works correctly in trac when I use the tracd server. However, when I use apache , I get the following warning at the top of all trac pages: Warning: Can't synchronize with repository "(default)" (Unsupported version control system "hg": DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.). Look in the Trac log for more information. The trac log doesn't have anything useful except a warning about mercurial being compiled with Python 2.6.2 and the actual version of Python running being 2.6.4. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? Versions: Python 2.6

git hook for legit commit message (#123 good message)

I need to make sure commit messages are some what legit else reject it. The commit message should be like "#123 fixing missing bracket" I want to make sure it begins with hash, there is an integer (no 123a), and the message is at least 10 words. Nice to have: the message would not be the exact same in a row I am using this Trac plugin for change set, it describes the commit message format in more detail http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/TracTicketChangelogPlugin Thanks, You can create a pre-receive hook that refuses commits based on any criteria you like - you just have to print an error to standard

Internal bug tracking tickets - Redmine, Trac, or JIRA

I've been looking at setting up Redmine , Trac , or JIRA to track issues. I want to be able to have my development team create internal tickets that are never seen by clients, while clients can create/edit tickets that are seen by the internal team. From the Trac documentation , you can set permissions to create or view tickets, but it doesn't seem to allow for viewing only certain tickets. It may be possible with Trac Fine Grained Permissions , but doesn't appear so. The Redmine documentation mentions: Define your own roles and set their permissions in a click but doesn't appear to have the

Creating Trac Tickets From Website

is it possible for my website visitors to create Trac tickets from my website rather than being logged into the Trac system? For example: I have a feedback form on my website that sends the form information to an e-mail address. What I would like to do is have that form communicate with Trac and dynamically create a ticket with each form submission, instead of sending an e-mail. I've taken a look at the page source of the "New Ticket" page on Trac. It looks like the form has a hidden input field with the name "__FORM_TOKEN" and generates obscure data for the field's value that seems to be

sudo mkdir -p /home/www-data/trac chown -R www-data:www-data /home/www-data 3. 创建第一个Trac项目 cd /home/www-data/trac trac-admin boss initenv 这样将在/home/www-data/trac/boss目录下生成一个trac项目。在Project Name [My Project]>提示符下面输入项目名称,如BOSS Platform回车,出现Database connection string

Kanban board plug-in for Trac

问题 Is there any plug-in/app for presenting/managing tickets from Trac bug tracking system on Kanban board? For example, I want to be able to change the status of Trac tickets by dragging-dropping them accross the board. I tried some standalone tools like AgileZen but but I couldn't find a way to integrate them with Trac. 回答1: I've written two blog posts about Trac and Kanban (and the new T&K - Redux) where we just fill a wiki-page with three columns of TracQuery-macros. There's some example
