So I want to make a function with unite()
from tidyr, but it does not seem to work..

I am not sure if this is the best way to do this but an option is to use quo_name
to refer it in mutate

col1_name <- quo_name(col_name)

- curly-curly operator from rlang -0.4.0
and it should make it more easier to do the evaluation
