回答1:

Just change

this

 private static String DB_NAME = "assesmenttool";

To

 private static String DB_NAME = "assesmenttool.db";

回答2:

private static String DB_NAME = "assesmenttool.db";

try appending extension as 'db'

or your path might be wrong. Check this https://stackoverflow.com/a/9109728/3020568

if(android.os.Build.VERSION.SDK_INT >= 17){
       DB_PATH = context.getApplicationInfo().dataDir + "/databases/";
    }
    else
    {
       DB_PATH = "/data/data/" + context.getPackageName() + "/databases/";
    }

回答3:

may be your problem in DBpath,

use this code for get DBPATH,

if(android.os.Build.VERSION.SDK_INT >= 17){
               DB_PATH = context.getApplicationInfo().dataDir + "/databases/";
          }
else
      {
    DB_PATH = context.getResources().getString(R.string.database_path) + context.getPackageName() + "/databases/";
     }

edit:

In string.xml

<string name="database_path">/data/data/</string>

回答4:

Please Don't use hard code database path. Use below code to get database path

String DB_PATH = context.getDatabasePath(Constant.DATABASE_NAME).getPath();
