MKPolygon area calculation

The final step for i = N-1 and i+1 = 0 (wrap around) is missing in your loop.

The whole algorithm implemented in Swift 3.0 :

This may help to someone... You need to pass the shape edge points into below method and it returns the correct area of a polygon
