问题
When is use Spring Roo with mysql and use
security setup --provider SPRINGLETS_JPA
When i now start the application i get error Stacktrace

When you include the SPRINGLETS_JPA security type, new Spring Boot auto-configuration is being included inside your project. Also, a new entity called UserLogin it's being registered in your context.
After seen your error log org.hibernate.dialect.MySQL5Dialect does not support pooled sequences, I checked the UserLogin entity and I've seen that the @Id field includes the following annotation that configures how the id value is being generated.
@GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.SEQUENCE, generator = "userLoginGen")
As you could see, it's using the GenerationType SEQUENCE, but this type it's not supported for MySQL databases.

Are you using spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto property in you application.properties?
I had the same issue, to workaround it, I kept the property for first time build/run, and when the Tables where created in the database, I removed the ddl-auto property and this error is gone....
I haven't implemented User Register functionality yet, I am not sure, if I try to insert a new User, this error will re-occur!!
Let me know, how it goes?
