问题 Recently we had an issue with one of our java applications that was trying to run an SSL protected web service of amazone load balancer, that had their certificate signed by GoDaddy. we did not Copy and paste the contents of the public key certificate chain file (PEM-encoded) in the Certificate Chain box. now we were seeing the following error: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed sun.security.provider.certpath

Documentum Rest Service - Trusting SSL certificate from Java Client

问题 My Need is to accept the SSL certificate enabled on REST Webservice URL ( https:/:/dctm-rest) from standalone Java application(which will be bundled as JAR). To my knowledge best way is to create KeyStore/TrustStore using Keytool, download the certificate from browser/openssl and add it to TrustStore. With this we are creating a dependency and someone has to keep on updating the certificate for every renewal. Can someone guide me to get this implemented by removing the manual dependency? 回答1:

Not able to connect to server through java code. Getting javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure

问题 I am trying to build a Test Automation Tool for REST API on AWS using rest-assured framework. I just tried with a simple HTTP POST and checking the output JSON body. But when I run that in Eclipse I get SSLHandshakeException . I did try to look into the issue and found it could be something related to server certificate (Received fatal alert: handshake_failure through SSLHandshakeException) but when I test it through POSTMAN it is running fine and gives desired output. Also if I hit the URI

Java client certificates over HTTPS/SSL

问题 I am using Java 6 and am trying to create an HttpsURLConnection against a remote server, using a client certificate. The server is using an selfsigned root certificate, and requires that a password-protected client certificate is presented. I've added the server root certificate and the client certificate to a default java keystore which I found in /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home/lib/security/cacerts (OSX 10.5). The name of the keystore file seems to suggest

“Not trusted Server Certificate” in Android 2.2 but not 3.0

问题 I'm using the BouncyCastle provider and Apache HttpClient to trust an SSL certificate, as described by Antoine Hauck here. The app I've made targets Android 1.5, and works fine on the emulator and a device running 3.0. However, when I try to test it on 2.2 (Galaxy S), an SSLException, "Not trusted Server Certificate", occurs. Since there's no errors complaining about BouncyCastle itself, I'm assuming the device is not reading the certificates properly from the .bks file. Is what I'm

问题 I believe I may be missing something important, nevertheless I cannot figure out how to communicate with an API from my android project on localhost. I pretty much was following this tutorial which is outdated so I was trying to update it into current Android Studio version. However, I have arrived at an impasse, I get this Handshake failed that I cannot seem to resolve. EDIT: I'd like to note that I can access the API from a browser on the emulator and it gives the information I requested,

The application sends mail just fine in my local JBoss application server, but it doesn't work on the JBoss server installed in my myhosting.com VPS.
