问题 I am trying to read a complex json file into a spark dataframe . Spark recognizes the schema but mistakes a field as string which happens to be an empty array. (Not sure why it is String type when it has to be an array type) Below is a sample that i am expecting arrayfield:[{"name":"somename"},{"address" : "someadress"}] Right now the data is as below arrayfield:[] what this does to my code is that when ever i try querying arrayfield.name it fails. I know i can input a schema while reading

问题 I'd like to know how to specify a JSON schema for an array of different objects. This thread gives me half the answer, but fails when I have multiple instances of each type of object. Here's a sample XML, based on the example given here but with the " Product " object being repeated:- { "things": [ { "entityType" : "Product", "name" : "Pepsi Cola", "brand" : "pepsi" }, { "entityType" : "Product", "name" : "Coca Cola", "brand" : "coke" }, { "entityType" : "Brand", "name" : "Pepsi Cola" } ] }

问题 I've using Laravel, loading a db row into an Eloquent object. One of the columns is longtext, a JSON encoded array > 2 million characters long. The original error I was getting was json_decode failing on this column's value. I tested in tinker. Simplified test code: $item = Item::find(1); echo $item->long_text_field; var_dump(json_decode($item->long_text_field)); echo strlen($item->long_text_field); On my local vagrant instance this shows the correct values. ...long json array in text, same
