问题 HTML 5 validator is failing on my code despite me following the Facebook documentation to the letter. There are a variety of problems but let's start with one example to start with. I'm following the Facebook "Getting Started" documentation and using th5is code: <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:og="http://ogp.me/ns#" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml"> The only difference is I precede this with <!DOCTYPE html> for HTML5. When running it through the W3C HTML5

问题 Say if you have set the facebook image for your webpage via the meta tag of the open graph protocol like this: <meta property="og:image" content="http://ia.media-imdb.com/rock.jpg"/> If you want to replace/update the image with another image of the same name rock.jpg , how do you get facebook to update your image accordingly with the new image when you share the page? Forcing facebook to fetch your page's data with this link http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug won't update the image.

How is SoundCloud embedding an HTML5/JS widget on Facebook?

Here's the scenario I'm seeing - You click to post a sound from SoundCloud to Facebook It embeds a player in the post that can either be clicked on to take you to the original item on SoundCloud OR you can click a Play icon to play the sound right in your feed. The player is a Javascript/HTML5 player (which you can see by viewing source) HOWEVER if you take the embedded URL and put it in the Facebook open graph debugger you'll see that it appears to be directing to embed a Flash SWF How is SoundCloud doing, what appears to be, some kind of redirect trick to get a "og:video" SWF to turn into a

I'm trying to set up a page which can be properly scraped by Facebook when it's shared/liked. The page will have a YouTube video associated with it, so in the content attribute of the og:video tag, should I put the YouTube video embed link or the actual youtube page link for it to appear on Facebook with the little "Preview" button that plays the video in Facebook? Hope someone can help! Thanks! Michael Khalili You have two options. You can either set the og:video to https://www.youtube.com/v/YOUTUBECODE or set the og:url to the YouTube page. In my examples, I'm embedding this video https:/

Facebook Debugger lint tool gets HTTP 206 - doesn't detect Open Graph meta tags (others tools do)

I believe my site has the correct markup for Facebook & Open Graph meta tags. But checking Facebook's linter shows that none of the tags are being detected. You can see for yourself here: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=goodloesolitaire.com When I use a different site, the tags are found: http://www.opengraph.in/?url=goodloesolitaire.com&format=html I went through the similar questions and none of those check out. Any ideas on why Facebook's debugger might see nothing? Facebook is seeing HTTP code 206 "Partial Content" instead of normal 200 "OK". 206 "Partial Content":

How to do Facebook Open Graph friendly meta tags with client-side template engines like AngularJS, Mustache, Handlebars

According to my testing, Facebook's crawlers do not render client-side templates like a browser. I want to avoid a webserver and building HTML files for Open Graph objects at all costs. I want to generate the meta tags on the fly via the URL, but it seems Facebook cannot do this. Can someone from Facebook please confirm? I asked the head of Open Graph at #mobiledevcon and she said that Facebook can render stuff like {{value}} My meta tags are as follows, and they render fine in every browser. But the Facebook Open Graph Debugger only sees the raw text, not the interpolated content. <meta

问题 I'm trying to create some Open Graph Story with map attachment using iOS SDK and I'm have some issues. First of all I'm having issues with the object creation... I had set a object that inherits from 'Place'. So here is the first question "how to setup a GeoPoint property using iOS Facebook SDK?"... After so many tries, I gave up... So I created a object that inherist from 'Object' and I created a custom property named 'location' as GeoPoint. But this solution brings me to same question "how

OpenGraph on Ajax Based Website

I have a Website, which is Fully Ajax-Based (Hash Navigation). Is there a way to refresh Open Graph meta-tags for ajax-based websites using Javascript? (When I Click on a link, the Tags, and there values should Change) No. Open Graph markup must be present on HTML pages which are GETable with pure HTTP. This is because when a user interacts with an OG object (like, performs an action etc) Facebook will perform an HTTP GET on the OG URL, and expect to see OG tags returned in the markup. The solution is to create canonical URLs for each of your objects. These URLs contain basic HTML markup

To begin with, I've already read the following topics: Facebook Like without Confirm? Facebook Like button shows the "Confirm" link, but still cannot Like after confirming Including this topic: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8940749/facebook-likeconfirm-button There are at least 25 apps hosted under dev.anuary.com host, sub domain of anuary.com . Neither of them ask for "like" action to be confirmed. Worth mentioning, is that there is another website ( http://sinonimai.lt ) hosted on the same host, that had a fan base of 10 000+ people and was recently disabled by Facebook. I didn't
