What will happen at the Geo for Good Summit this year?

· Tune into the Opening remarks & Keynotes to hear what’s on our minds this year.

· Learn about the latest updates to Google Earth Engine, Google Earth and more during Product Demos and Announcements.

· Listen to others in the Geo for Good community talk about using mapping technology for social and environmental impact during the Lightning Talks.

· Tune into the sessions and ask questions!

Before the summit, take any of these on-demand training sessions to bring yourself up to speed on the mapping technologies that interest you most:

· Google Earth Storytelling 101

· Google Earth Studio 101

· Google My Maps 101

· Google Earth Engine 101 Part 1 and Part 2

Participants in the Geo for Good Summit must abide by the Google Event Community Guidelines and Anti-Harassment Policy.

Agenda

The Summit agenda is still a work-in-progress. The times listed below will change as we finalize our program, including the total run time.
DAY 1
The first day of the Summit will feature a program packed with short talks from Googlers and the Geo for Good Summit community. We will broadcast this program twice on Day 1 (see Region 1 and Region 2, below), so that we can connect with as many of you around the globe as possible.

DAY 2
The second day of the Summit will include Office Hours - a space where you can bring your questions directly to the product experts - and a Live Closing Q&A.
VIRTUAL MEETUPS
In addition to the main program were also curating a list of Virtual Meetups, self-hosted by Geo for Good participants, that will be happening throughout the two days of the Summit. Learn more by clicking on the Virtual Meetups tab, above.

Virtual Meetups Vitual Meetups

A Virtual Meetup is an online meetup - self-hosted by Geo for Good Summit participants to connect face-to-face with other participants.

Past summit participants have said that networking and interaction with others who are having positive social & environmental impact in the world was one of the most valued and inspiring elements of attending the Geo for Good Summit.

Although it’s difficult to have those spontaneous hallway conversations at this year’s Geo for Good, we wanted to offer a flavor of this through virtual meetups.

How to host a Virtual Meetup

Anyone who is accepted to attend the Summit can nominate a virtual meetup. If youre interested in hosting a meetup, please join our briefing session on September 22, 3:30pm PST (if you can’t make this time, you’ll be able to watch it on demand).
