I want to deploy war file into JBOSS6 with the following spring configuration:

I'm getting the same validation error when I used this online validation tool: http://www.xmlvalidation.com/

The error is clear - value must not contain the '<' character but the problem is that I do not see '<' character in this text pointed by the parser:

jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=xxx.com)(PORT=15210)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=XXXX.COM)))

I tried to enclose this text with:

<![CDATA[ ]]>

but the result is the same. Please help me what is wrong with this XML ?

Check your driver class name you have missed to close the quote.

 <property name="driverClassName" value="oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" />
