Im am working on SEO for www.proshred.com/richmond
While researching keywords, using Google, I searched for "richmond shredding services". I found this title linked to the homepage: Richmond Shredding Services - Proshred. This is the wrong title.
Looking at the source code, the correct <title>
is Richmond Mobile Shredding | Shredding Paper | Proshred
Upon further investigation I found this meta tag:
<meta content="Richmond Shredding Services" about="/richmond/richmond-shredding-services" property="dc:title" />
So this explains it, right. Nope. Google states that on the content between <title></title>
will be the title on SERPs.
Furthermore, why does about="" contain a false breadcrumb?
Why are there different titles for the homepage on SERPs?
