Can you please suggest steps for beginners to get started with Blackberry development.

first of all visit BB Dev Getting Started page and see BB Dev introduction video

if it's BlackBerry J2ME you intrested in, then

• set up. download BlackBerry JDE Plug-in for Eclipse and read A1 Setting up Necessary Tools
• go on with first app and bb labs
• read SO beginner articles
• stay with us and ask questions in case you don't find answer
