While bundling an old project, this error came up:

Results logged to /home/dd/.rvm/gems/ruby-2.0.0-p247/gems/curb-0.8.5/ext/gem_make.out
An error occurred while installing curb (0.8.5), and Bundler cannot continue.
Make sure that `gem install curb -v '0.8.5'` succeeds before bundling.
I found the solution here
sudo apt-get install libcurl3-dev
On CentOS
sudo yum install libcurl-devel
It says it can't install curb gem. Go to curb homepage and check installation section:
On Ubuntu, the dependencies can be satisfied by installing the following packages:
$ sudo apt-get install libcurl3 libcurl3-gnutls libcurl4-openssl-dev
On RedHat:
$ sudo yum install ruby-devel libcurl-devel openssl-devel
