问题 I am currently taking an operating systems class and I need to use qemu to run a small operating system that my professor provided. I am trying to use qemu within an ubuntu 12.04 virtual machine on virtualbox on my macbook air 5.2. I know the problems I am having probably have to do with nested virtualization but the specific error I get when I try to run qemu is: Could not access the KVM kernel module: No such file or directory failed to initialize KVM: no such file or directory Back to tcg

WPF custom layout / virtualization

问题 This what i am trying to achieve with WPF. A textblock as title and below buttons in a wrappanel .The problem is that this needs scrolling etc. I have achieved this using ItemsControl and binding for each group. I have an ItemsControl that has a stackpanel as paneltemplate and its itemtemplate is a textblock and a wrappanel . It works but it is slow at instantiation at slow intel gma + atom machines when items are many . It seems that rendering isnt the problem but creation of the Visual Tree

The relation between privileged instructions, traps and system calls

问题 I am trying to understand how a virtual machine monitor (VMM) virtualizes the CPU. My understanding right now is that the CPU issues a protection fault interrupt when a privileged instruction is about to be executed while the CPU is in user mode. In high level languages like C, privileged instructions are wrapped inside system calls. For example, when an application needs the current date and time (instructions that interact with I/O devices are privileged), it calls a certain library

问题 Is it possible to do scripting using powerCLI scripts to automate VM creation using notepad? or any powerCLI developing tool? How to go about studying PowerCLI scripting from scratch to automate VM creation? 回答1: More or less two months ago, I started learning powershell because the needing of using PowerCLI :). PowerCLI is the best choice for scripting vmware vsphere automation. When you start PowerCLI command line tool you can work there exactly as you were inside the powershell.

docker: SSH access directly into container

问题 Up to now we use several linux users: system_foo@server system_bar@server ... We want to put the system users into docker container. linux user system_foo --> container system_foo The changes inside the servers are not problem, but remote systems use these users to send us data. We need to make ssh system_foo@server work. The remote systems can't be changed. I would be very easy if there would be just one system per linux operating system (pass port 22 to the container). But there are several

How do I delete a virtualbox machine in the GURU_MEDITATION error state?

问题 How do I delete a VirtualBox machine in the GURU_MEDITATION error state? Is it enough just to delete the directory while VirtualBox is not running? EDIT: After posting, I deleted the entire directory that "Show in File Manager" navigates to. It looks like: Note that there is no power off, and even remove is greyed out. I believe this is the exact same as it looked even before I deleted the directory. EDIT 2: I tried the command line poweroff after deleting the files. It hangs: vboxmanage
