RFID Reader for Mobile Devices

问题 I've been asked to develop an app with the core functionality of reading RFID chips in pets and checking those identification numbers against a database through some web service. I was first directed towards iCarte, supposed maker of an NFC/RFID Reader accessory for iPhone. I sent them an email that was immediately returned due to them exceeding their mailbox quota, so I suppose they are out of business? Other solutions come in the form of Bluetooth ready readers, like those from Serialio.

Which is better? High number of web service calls (SOAP messages) or high amount of data in single Soap Message?

问题 I am designing a mobile application which gets server data through SOAP messages. I wanted to know what is the best practice: More number of web service calls fetching less data in each SOAP message call. OR I get all data in a single web service call but then the length of SOAP message would be large. Wouldn't the high amount of data in a single soap message create data connectivity issues for mobile subscriber. In my application for a particular year I have to get names of all car

问题 I am very experienced developer but very new to mobile app dev. I am using Kotlin, Android Studio & Amplify with a DynamoDB APi. When I add data via the AWS website it shows on the device. When I delete it doesn't reflect unless I uninstall/reinstall. I assume this is some sort of basic cache management/sync issue but like I said I am very new. I have tried removing context.cacheDir but the deleted record persists. Any help would be appreciated. Here is some more info. As I say I am
