问题 Background We are merging documentation written in LaTeX and MS Word towards markdown (for the well-known advantages). We have a static intranet site creating mkdocs . My predecessors decided for MathJax , but this stopped working at the moment MathJax CDN was shut down, but the customer only realized that with some delay. In the meantime, the intranet is now totally disconnected from the outside world by our customer (whose formulas should stay behind the fence). Using a different MathJax

Can GitLab pages be used for review apps on a mkdocs project?

问题 This answer by @joki to a previous question suggests that it is possible to deploy each active branch in a GitLab repo to a dynamic environment, by giving browsable artifacts a public URL. Trying this out with a mkdocs material project, I've found two issues. Firstly, if the GitLab repo is within a group or a subgroup the URLs in the .gitlab-ci.yml file needs to be something more like this: environment: name: review/$CI_COMMIT_REF_NAME url: "$CI_PAGES_URL/-/jobs/$CI_JOB_ID/artifacts/public

问题 The mkdocs.yml nav file I am working with includes a hierarchical tree of a manuals website with several categories and subcategories the content articles fall into; the tree is absolutely virtual and not based on a folder structure/website path. I am looking for a way to generate permalinks for each of the tree's nodes (categories). If that is impossible with Markdown or its extensions than perhaps html/css elements could be used. I am very new to Markdown and mkdocs; I googled thoroughly to
