locked

I have come across an error which I guess is very common in OpenCV apps. When I try to run the app, it says "it seems that your device does not support camera(or it is locked)". I have seen this and this and I have already done whatever they have said, like granting camera permission and rebooting the device etc. But still problem persists. I know this problem means that any other app must be using camera and hence it is locked. When I clear the cache of all the apps using camera which might me using camera, then it works but just once. After that same issue. Any solution to this problem?

I'm not experienced with Android. I want to setup some tablets in such a way, that the gadgets are locked to just one web-app. I think it should be somehow locked to a Browser (which in turn should open directly after the launch of the tablet with the login page of the web-app set as default) and the browser should be locked to a particular web-app/ set of urls. Can somebody recommend tools/ resources or solutions for my purpose? i am currently collecting information, if it is possible to make some kind of quickdraw-application for emergency purposes; i want to get the device to start a customized camera-intent once some certain key-combo is pressed. I want to be able to list all of the users in a given database along with an icon that determines whether they are locked or not. The problem I'm having is querying the "locked" status for a given user, I though it might have been on all_users but it isn't. Can anyone point me in the right direction? ninesided Found it!
