Ivy resolve failing for some users

问题 Certain developers on my project are unable to successfully execute an ivy resolve. We use an ivy ssh resolver to a remote server/file system. Impacted developers are typically resolving all but 1 or 2 dependencies successfully. The dependencies that fail to be resolved are the larger jars (example: nasa worldwind). Again, most users are able to resolve all dependencies with no problem. The eclipse project, ivy.xml and ivysettings.xml all come from the software repo and are identical between

Managing conflicting ivy repositories (in eclipse)

问题 I've got eclipse workspaces for my full time job and my home test work that are both set up with ivy (and using ivyDE). However, I'm finding that I'm getting strange behaviour and conflicts between the different workspaces - issues like not being able to find certain dependencies, or not compiling etc. Is there a way in ivy or ivyDE to set the home .ivy2 directory so that I can split my workspaces? At the moment, I'm alternating different directories for my .ivy2 cache. 回答1: I think you're

问题 I want to use the url resolver to download depends. The depends are JS, or XML files. So, I used: <url name="urlresolver"> <artifact pattern="http://[organisation]/[module]-[revision].[ext]" /> </url> And <ivy:retrieve pattern="${build}/[module]-[revision].[ext]"/> the file is saved in .jar extension. 回答1: It's worth digging around the following ivy docs: Terminology Main Concepts Best Practices The first problem is that your url resolver is not configured to read ivy files for the remote

Split organization name into nested folders using ivy:retrieve

问题 In ivy I can set a retrieve pattern in order to copy all my dependencies somewhere I want to. For example: <ivy:retrieve pattern="${local-maven2-dir}/[organisation]/[module]/[revision]/[module]-[revision].[ext]" conf="compile" type="jar, bundle" sync="true"/> I wonder is it possible to treat organization not as a folder, but as a set of nested folders, and keep in deepest folder (which is revision) the jar package, just like jars are stored in maven default repo. So, basically I want to have

Reverse dependencies

问题 We are using Ivy with Artifactory as a repository. In Artifactory both third-party libraries and our release packages are stored. If there is a bug in an artefact (3rd party or our package) I would like to find out which other components are potentially impacted. In short, I need a reverse dependency report. How similar problems are usually solved? 回答1: Check out Artifactory's build integration and CI server plugins. The plugins collect information during build time (Both CI server and build

Sensibility of combined Maven/Ant+Ivy build management for dual platform Desktop/Android deployment?

问题 I'm currently preparing to start a new project and wondering about the choice of build management tools (non-exclusive alternatives of Maven and Ant+Ivy). The general scenario is as follows: small, several-person project, all developers use Eclipse as the IDE, two targets: Android (primary), and Java SE, we'll be in CI (Jenkins specifically), so some sort of build management is required. Regarding the envisioned project structure: one general module, with most of the code and common

Downloading LWJGL natives with Ivy

问题 I'm trying to set up an Ant + Ivy build for a personal project. Everything was making sense, and working nicely, until I got to LWJGL. Everything from LWJGL is resolved, except the natives. The Readme.md on their website makes it seem that it is possible to get these through Ivy: LWJGL 3 can be used with Maven/Gradle/Ivy, with the following dependencies: org.lwjgl:lwjgl:${version} org.lwjgl:lwjgl-platform:${version}:natives-windows org.lwjgl:lwjgl-platform:${version}:natives-linux org.lwjgl

IvyIdea plugin - does not resolve dependencies

问题 I am using IntelliJ, added IvyIdea plugin and now trying to resolve dependencies for a project (Ant build) using IvyIdea but getting error about "UNRESOLVED DEPENDENCIES". I have downloaded and configured Ivy and Ant. I can resolve and build the project using Ant command line but not via IDE. I can see the ~.ivy2\cache folder has got all the dependencies resolved which it is complaining about. I have configured "Facets" for all modules to map to the correct Ivy settings and build properties

How to skip Ivy publish without causing error?

问题 I would like to skip publishing an artifact if it already exists in the repository, but as far as I can see from the documentation there isn't a way to do this. There is an overwrite attribute, but if set to false that causes the publish to fail if the artifact exists. I definitely don't want to overwrite the artifact, either. I've looked into using <ivy:info> and <ivy:findrevision> to see if the artifact exists and set a property I can use on my publish target (as an unless attribute, for
