Wrong results for calculator subtraction and division

问题 My addition and multiplication work just fine. However, for subtraction, if I input 2 numbers, 3 and 1, the answer would be -2, which is obviously incorrect. Division is also not functioning properly. I can input 2 numbers, 8 and 4, and it would tell me the answer is 0.5, which is also incorrect. What went wrong in my code? print("Welcome to Calculator!") class Calculator: def addition(self,x,y): added = x + y return added def subtraction(self,x,y): subtracted = x - y return subtracted def

问题 I have a few modifications I need for my cost calculator: Is there a way to add a Math.celi to the no of cans so it rounds up to the nearest whole number, providing the minimum cans needed? What ever the minimum required cans are, can the cost reflect that by multiplying by 18.23 and giving the real amount? $('input').keyup(function () { // run anytime the value changes var firstValue = parseFloat($('#width').val()); // get value of field var secondValue = parseFloat($('#height').val()); var

Make NSNumberformatter().numberFromString return an optional

问题 I'm pretty new to swift. Just wanted to know how to convert the code below to be an optional. var displayValue: Double { get { return NSNumberFormatter().numberFromString(display.text! as NSString)!.doubleValue } set { display.text = "\(newValue)" userIsInTheMiddleOfTypeingANumber = false } } this is from the stanford calculator lecture series. The lecturer didn't show how to make it optional. My understanding is that when there is a string in displayValue that can't be converted to a Double

iOS DDMathParser Get Number 'Blocks'

问题 I am building a calculator app for iOS using DDMathParser. I would like to know how to separate an expression ( NSString ) like 5+900/32 into its individual number values: 5 , 900 , and 32 . I would prefer that I get these in an NSArray or other relatively useful list object. I have heard that there is an easy way to do this with DDMathParser - It's why I switched from GCMathParser . 回答1: DDMathParser author here. Yes, this is very easy, and there are a couple of ways to go about it. If you

Calculate price on frontend insecure?

问题 I wonder if it would be possible to manipulate a price calculation that is done on the frontend? I read a lot about JavaScript price calculators with the business logic solely on the client side, but nothing about security. Consider the following scenario: A React app has a component (form) that calculates a price based on the states (user interaction) of it's child components (form inputs). The prices for these child components come from an API. But the calculation is handled by the parent

问题 I have a task that requires me to print out the following quantities: I need to write a java program that can calculate: 1. the number of integers read in 2. the average value—which need not be an integer! My final output should look like: $ javac SimpleCalc $ java SimpleCalc 3 4 6 8 1 5 8 4.4 7 I know i need to use a scanner class to read then as the user inputs then, i dont know how to make it display a count. I think that i can work this out, i can compute the average by adding up the

javascript volume calculator from width, length and depth

问题 I'm not amazing at maths, I must admit :) Essentially I need to create a calculator that takes: 1. width 2. length 3. depth From these inputs, I need to display the answer in m³. Making it a little more tricky, a user can choose between 5 drop-down options: 1. Centimeter 2. Inches 3. Feett 4. Yards 5. Meters For example, a user could do something like: width = 10 centimeters length = 7 foot depth = 2 inches So my thought was to convert all user input into millimeters to make them the same

Google Calculator Thousands Separator Special Character

问题 NOTE: For more answers related to this, please see Special Characters in Google Calculator I noticed when grabbing the return value for a Google Calculator calculation, the thousands place is separated by a rather odd character. It is not simply a space. Let's take the example of converting $4,000 USD to GBP. If you visit the following Google link: http://www.google.com/ig/calculator?hl=en&q=4000%20usd%20to%20gbp You'll note that the response is: {lhs: "4000 U.S. dollars",rhs: "2 497.81441
