ASP.NET Create zip file for download: the compressed zipped folder is invalid or corrupted

This worked. I don't know why but it did.

string fileName = "test.zip";
string path = "c:\\temp\\";
string fullPath = path + fileName;
FileInfo file = new FileInfo(fullPath);
