How to debug OLE DB or ODBC error (import data from MySql to Excel)

I try to import a table to PowerPivot in Excel 32bit on Windows 10.

What I did so far:

  • Installed the MYSQL Connector mysql-connector-odbc-8.0.21-win32.msi (
