How to add Jquery Plugin to a Sharepoint Webpart in React Framework when a .d.ts file of the plugin does not exist?

I\'m trying to add a jquery plugin to a Sharepoint Webpart. I can install the plugin via npm fine, but the plugin doesn\'t have a declarations file available for npm install.
