Spring boot (Tomcat server) on Azure App Service failing to unpackage WAR

I have a Spring Boot application (REST API) that uses an embedded Tomcat server. I am deploying to Azure\'s App Service, which is an analogue to AWS\'s Elastik Beanstalk.
