Qt: No metadata by meta.enumeratorCount() for enum in Q_OBJECT, why?

You need to register the enum with the metadata system using the Q_ENUMS() macro:

class FsxSimConnectQtfier : public QObject
{
    Q_OBJECT
    Q_ENUMS(MyEnum)  // <---
