Deploy AWS Lamda (stage dev) without schedules (rate or Cron) using Chalice

Question

How can I deploy an AWS Lambda function without the schedules (rate or Cron). I want to deploy a development stage (--stage dev) for only testing endpoints, not schedules. The s
