Git stages changes that should be ignored by the .gitignore

I\'ve made a Unity Project and want to exclude some folders. I made the .gitignore look like this:

[Tt]emp/
[Oo]bj/
[Bb]uild/
[Bb]uilds/
[Ll]ogs/
