Powershell Script To Expand Virtual Machine Disk Space Completes With No Error But Doesn't Increase Disk Space

Question

I am an intermediate to Powershell and I have been tasked to expand virtual hard drives of multiple machines at a time. This script works without the IF statement. I need th
