How to use a regex in a string condition of an if

Question

I have regex statement to find ip addresses and mac addresses. Respectively (?:\\d+.){3}\\d+) and ([0-9A-Fa-f]{2}[:]){5}([0-9A-Fa-f]{2}).

I need to use theses in the
