Cant convert .vrt.ovr ISRIC data to EPSG:4326 .tif file in python

Question

I have downloded a.vrt.ovr from this link. You can download any of the avaiable .vrt.ovr options. After that I am trying to import it using Python GDAL and save a .tif file
