    Whatever the haters say, your code is beautiful. I found this trying to get mine to work. I had to debug a C library side-by-side with yours. https://github.com/dlitz/pycrypto/blob/master/src/RIPEMD160.c

    A few errors.

    1. This getting binary of the ascii value of the character, instead of actual value.

      temp += makebin(ord(x),8)

    2. Append the little endian length before doing little endian of X

    3. Add a before doing ROL
    4. Do a mask on c and T. Your ROL function returns 44 bit number

      import os, math

      def makehex(value,size=8):
          value = hex(value)[2:]
          if value[-1] == 'L':
              value = value[0:-1]
          while len(value)<size:
              value = '0' + value
          return value

      def makebin(value,size=32):
          value = bin(value)[2:]
          while len(value)<size:
              value = '0' + value
          return value
