    $alt = $img->getAttribute('alt');

        $src = 'http://myhost.com/cache/img001.gif';    
    } else if ($alt== '*'){
        $src = 'http://myhost.com/cache/img002.gif';
    } else if ($alt== 'cool image'){
        $src = 'http://myhost.com/cache/img003.jpg';
    }
    $img->setAttribute( 'src' , $src );
