In python3, how to get the boundries of the x axis, between which 90% of the data lies (around the max of the histogram)?

I have an array of data, how do I get x_min and x_max, between which lies a certain percentage of my data around the maximum of the historgram, e.g., 90% (or 40, or 71.5 for
