Can an AUv3 app be written in JavaScript (i.e. without the use of Xcode/Swift) and published to the App Store?

Furthermore, what would the pros and cons of each language be for doing so? I\'d like to learn JavaScript, but only if I am able to develop for iOS; specifically an AUv3.
