The examples I\'ve seen online seem much more complex than I expected (manually parsing &/?/= into pairs, using regular expressions, etc). We\'re using asp.net
I am using this function in case i don't want to use a plugin:
function getQueryVariable(variable) {
var query = window.location.search.substring(1);
var vars = query.split("&");
for (var i = 0; i < vars.length; i++) {
var pair = vars[i].split("=");
if (pair[0] == variable) {
return pair[1];
}
}
return null;
}
