Python (Pandas): How do I keep the row of the highest value of a date (in strings) and delete other rows with the same “ID”;

Incorporating excel and pandas, I\'m looking for a solution that keep a row of the latest date and delete the rest with the same Ccode.

I.E. : In the df below, CU0080
