Why does Google App Engine (Standard) have drastically poor performance compared to AWS Elastic Beanstalk?

I\'m considering migrating a legacy Django/Python project from AWS Elastic Beanstalk to Google App Engine. I can successfully deploy and run the code perfectly on App Engine
