How to write lambda function to import a user upon user confirmation from AWS Cognito to AWS DynamoDB using cognito triggers?

I have managed to get my app hooked up to AWS Cognito for user auth and am now trying to figure out how I can write a lambda function that I can call as a AWS Cognito trigger th
