You can set the model with the schema using model.schema, something like:

var City = sequelize.define('City', {
    id: {
        type: sequelize.Sequelize.INTEGER,
        primaryKey: true,
        autoIncrement: true,
        field: 'id'
    },
    name: {
        type: sequelize.Sequelize.STRING,
        field: 'name'
