Stop Eclipse from deleting line breaks in comments when auto-formatting

Question

I\'m using Ctrl + Shift + F to auto-format my code in eclipse. It turns this:

   * This 
   * is 
   * an 
   * example
   * comment
   */
  int foo(int bar
