Multi Part File Upload with RESTful API Splits Files larger than 256K into a Flux of 1k Sized Buffers

Question

The file upload endpoint of a reactive RESTful API that I wrote with SpringBoot apparently breaks down files larger than 256K into a flux of 1K sized chunks on the server side.
