I have installed Laravel 5 successfully and changed MySQL credentials in database.php file in config directory to \'

Pls Update .env file

 DB_HOST=localhost
 DB_DATABASE=homestead
 DB_USERNAME=homestead
 DB_PASSWORD=secret

After then restart server
