I want to change persian numbers which are saved in variable like this :
string Value="۱۰۳۶۷۵۱";
to
string Value="1036751"
I wrote this extension method to convert Arabic and Persian digits in an string to its Latin representation
public static class Extensions
{
public static string ConvertDigitsToLatin(this string s)
{
var sb = new StringBuilder();
for (int i = 0; i < s.Length; i++)
{
switch (s[i])
{
//Persian digits
case '۰':
sb.Append('0');
break;
case '۱':
sb.Append('1');
break;
case '۲':
sb.Append('2');
break;
case '۳':
sb.Append('3');
break;
case '۴':
sb.Append('4');
break;
case '۵':
sb.Append('5');
break;
case '۶':
sb.Append('6');
break;
case '۷':
sb.Append('7');
break;
case '۸':
sb.Append('8');
break;
case '۹':
sb.Append('9');
break;
//Arabic digits
case '٠':
sb.Append('0');
break;
case '١':
sb.Append('1');
break;
case '٢':
sb.Append('2');
break;
case '٣':
sb.Append('3');
break;
case '٤':
sb.Append('4');
break;
case '٥':
sb.Append('5');
break;
case '٦':
sb.Append('6');
break;
case '٧':
sb.Append('7');
break;
case '٨':
sb.Append('8');
break;
case '٩':
sb.Append('9');
break;
default:
sb.Append(s[i]);
break;
}
}
return sb.ToString();
}
}
