This question is old, but i was trying to get the date from Github without any external plugins. After went online and digging deeper and trying to find soemthing else and came across this solution. Here's the answer.

• Right-click on your Profile and select Settings
• In your 'Settings' page, Sidebar on the left click Security
• You should see all the details under the 'Security history'
• You can hover on the date to display the full date and time. Or you can click repo.create and till popup with more detailed information about the repository.
