It's quite easy with the itertools library.
for x, y, z in itertools.product(a, b, c):
print x, y, z

pools = map(tuple, args) * kwds.get('repeat', 1)

for pool in pools:
result = [x+[y] for x in result for y in pool]
for prod in result:
yield tuple(prod)
