How to use OpenStreetMap/OpenLayers?

I am searching for an example how to use OpenStreetMap with PhoneGap and Android.
I found only old examples at the web, f.e. http://mab.edina.ac.uk/geomobile-test/osm.ht

When I remove the 50000 and only pass one parameter to loadUrl, the crash goes away. It seems there may be an issue with the timeout parameter in 1.2.
