Escape Quotes in Objective-C

I\'m using this code snippet to encode characters to be friendly with a POST request:

   NSString *unescaped = [textField text];
   NSString *escapedString =

Quotes are to be escaped with \".

As in:

(CFStringRef)@"I'm an \"example\""
