Calling C/C++ from Python? [closed]

The question is how to call a C function from Python, if I understood correctly. Then the best bet are Ctypes (BTW portable across all variants of Python).

>>> libc = cdll.msvcrt

>>> printf = libc.printf
>>> printf("Hello, %s\n", "World!")
Hello, World!
